Thursday, 28 July 2022 – İntermobil Otomotiv and Loop Energy have announced a strategic partnership to service the growing demand for fuel cells in the Turkish automotive market.
With 68 years of experience representing international brands, Intermobil will partner with Loop Energy, a leading hydrogen fuel cell developer and manufacturer from Canada. Loop Energy’s product line of 30 to 60 kW fuel cells offers customers the benefits of industry-leading fuel efficiency, and extends to complete fuel cell systems, combining a fuel cell engine, a cooling system and a DC-DC converter into a turn-key, integration-ready offering. Together, the two companies will advance the green transformation of the Turkish ecosystem by supporting commercial manufacturers to develop fuel cell electric vehicles.
Loop Energy joins an extensive list of leading global automotive brands to be represented by Intermobil. The longstanding agent and distributor brings decades of experience in representing global industry suppliers in the commercial vehicle space in Turkey. The agreement results from the growing interest in developing hydrogen-electric vehicles in Turkey, and will allow Intermobil to draw their experience and relationships in the Turkish market to connect companies with Loop Energy’s fuel cell solutions.
Intermobil’s role will include presenting Loop Energy’s fuel cell offerings and collaborating to provide technical and on-site integration support for vehicle configuration and after-sales and quality management services to customers in Turkey.
Loop Energy Chief Commercial Officer, George Rubin and İntermobil President & CFO & Shareholder, Nadine Perahya completed the signing ceremony and officially launched the partnership in Istanbul on May 25th.
